The Oshawa Museum is making spirits bright and merry again at the 2023 Lamplight Tour. On Saturday, December 2nd, from 6 – 8 p.m., Henry House comes alive with Victorian traditions, bursting with baking displays, contemporary toys and home goods, and a tabletop tree adorned with candles, popcorn, and cornucopias. Visit Father Christmas in the carriage shed for photos!
Robinson House features diverse community stories in the 'A Carrying Place: Oshawa's Indigenous Story' and 'Be Prepared: The History of Guiding and Scouting in Oshawa' exhibits. And guests can start their holiday shopping at the mini market and gift shop in Guy House.

Celebrate Chanukah at Oshawa's Community Menorah Lighting Ceremony at Oshawa City Hall. Chanukah is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime “festival of lights.” During this eight-day celebration, we come together to light the menorah, adding a candle each night, to symbolize the increasing brightness that emerged from a time of darkness. Join the City of Oshawa and Rabbi Tzali Borenstein of the Chabad Jewish Centre of Durham, as we come together on the 5th night of Chanukah to light the menorah, share traditional Chanukah treats and add more light to our community.

Established in 2014, this annual concert for the Back Door Mission quickly became renowned as one of Oshawa and Durham's signature holiday events and we're setting the stage again for an unforgettable experience.
The Professors of Funk, a 9-piece powerhouse known as one of the premiere professional musical ensembles of our region, return to the historic landmark Simcoe Street United Church, built in 1867, with talented guests in a performance that will continue the tradition as an annual holiday highlight!
