Join us for Events in the Park with Durham St. Classic Rock Revival
Presented by TD
Bring your chairs, blanket and a picnic and enjoy a free concert at Lakeview Park.
Durham Street is a tour de force consisting of four accomplished musicians. They take audiences through a musical journey performing favourite Classic Rock songs of the 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond. Fronted by vocalist Colin Jennison on guitar and keyboards, along with Rob Anthony on lead/slide guitar, Steve Dodd on bass guitar/back-up vocals and Taras Kapanaiko on drums/percussion. These four individuals can rock the house on any given day or night!
Durham Street actively engages audiences musically with their own style, energy and passion. From the power ballad "Free Bird", to "Layla", one of Eric Clapton's epic love songs that soars from the unplugged version into the high energy electric version. Further illuminating the band is the Eagles "Hotel California", George Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" or Canada's very own Tragically Hip "New Orleans" and "Blow at High Dough". Classic Rock favourites like "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believing", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Sweet Child of Mine", keep audiences dancing all night wanting more .............
Durham Street captures the moment, the feel and the love. Take a musical journey into the past and transform it into the present, you won't regret it!
The stage is located south of the Jubilee Pavilion on the west side of the building.
