You're invited to a free workshop, hosted by Oshawa Economic Development in partnership with the Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD), Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce (GOCC) and Reid Write Consulting, designed to help business owners and entrepreneurs improve their grant writing skills so they can apply for funding with confidence. You’ll learn how to answer application questions clearly, write in a way that resonates with funders, and present your business in a compelling and authentic way. Presenter: Leslie Reid, Reid Write Consulting
Leslie Reid (they/she), Reid Write Consulting owner and founder, has spent a 25+ year career helping organizations grow. With experience in Hospitality and Tourism, retail, as an Executive Assistant, in Human Resources, admin, as an instructor, and as an avid volunteer, Leslie has done a little bit of a lot of different things. This provides a great basis of knowledge from which Leslie pulls to understand the needs of other small businesses. For the past 20 years, Leslie worked as a bid and proposal manager at leading telecommunications and services companies and has led teams to win a variety of RFPs, VORs, and proposals. Leslie’s passion is to take that experience and help your organization grow through proposals and grants.
