Community members are invited to the Indigenous Cultural Celebration marking the beginning of Indigenous History Month, celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of the Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island.
Enjoy a variety of performances and interactive workshops led by First Nations, Inuit and Métis presenters and storytellers. Event highlights include
Family Area: Storytelling, craft making, and interactive activities.
Education Area: Water teachings, workshops, and demonstrations.
Vendors: A selection of food and merchandise vendors showcasing and selling their creations and artwork.
Main Stage: Presentations include hand drumming, traditional dancing, storytelling, and more.
