Join the Oshawa Museum for a captivating walking tour of the Grandview Site on Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m.
As you stroll through the area, Oshawa Museum staff will share stories of the past, guiding you past modern structures while showcasing the layout and significance of this historic site.
The walk will take you along paved sidewalks and uneven terrain, including grassy fields, dirt pathways, and natural landscaping. This tour is best suited for those confident in their mobility, and participants are welcome to bring walking sticks or poles. Please note, the tour is not wheelchair accessible. Meeting Location: The tour will begin at the Iroquois Shoreline Playground on the west side of Grandview St. N., between Ridgemount Blvd. and Glenbourne Dr. Limited parking is available in the area, so please be mindful of local road signs and parking restrictions.
Cost: Jane’s Walks are free to attend, but the Oshawa Museum welcomes and appreciates any donations.
