EVENT DETAILS Who: Confirmed Yelpers who receive the "You're IN!" email approximately 3-5 days before the start of the event. Originally the Genosha Hotel, established in 1929 by General Motors owner Robert Sam McLaughlin, it quickly became a city landmark, hosting notable guests like Ian Fleming and Roald Dahl, and concerts by bands like Rush and Boston. After changing ownership and undergoing rebranding between 1950 and 1992, the hotel closed in 2003 due to city rezoning. Following a two-decade hiatus, it was transformed into Market at 70 King in 2024, blending its storied past with a commitment to culinary excellence and community support.
