The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure returns Sunday, October 1.

The 32nd annual event will unite and inspire people, families and communities across Canada to come together and make a difference for people living with or beyond breast cancer. 

The DURHAM REGION event will take place at 55 Lakeview Park Ave.

To kick off the day there will be opening ceremonies in the Jubillee Pavilion. 

Event schedule:        Registration: 8 a.m.      Opening ceremonies: 9:30 a.m.
                                   5km start: 10 a.m.         1km start: 10:10 a.m.
