Friends of Second Marsh is looking for Volunteers to help lessen the impact of Phragmites on Oshawa Second Marsh by spading phragmites plants in nearby areas and removing them.  Experience is not needed, training on technique will be provided.

Volunteers are required to sign a Participant Waiver: https://forms.gle/dzan7AnSBAmYKip86 

A hardcopy of the waiver will be available at the event.

Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Limited shovels are available for use. If you would like to bring a sharpened garden spade you are more than welcome to.  No smoking, no dogs and no washrooms on site.

Meeting location, what to bring and wear, etc. will be emailed a few days prior to the event.
