In honour of World Storytelling Day and the theme of ‘Together We Can,’ the Oshawa Museum is proud to welcome the Durham Storytellers who will join us for an afternoon telling stories of immigration, refugees, and experiences with school days. On March 19, the Durham Storytellers will share their family’s immigration experiences, of leaving their homeland to find a better way of life, refugees fleeing to foreign lands seeking a safe haven, the positive, the negative, and how these experiences may have impacted their school life.
Tickets are $10 per person; as the number of tour spots for each group time is limited, we urge you to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please be aware there are different start times for this event. Be careful when selecting your choice.
Each tour is approximately 1.5 hours in length.
